Why study the Babylonian Exile?

-Because we live in a Post-Christian culture

Daniel discerned the culture
Daniel realized that God was Lord in Babylon as much as He was Lord in Jerusalem

They couldn’t go back to Jerusalem and couldn’t make the Babylonians act like Israelites, so all they could do was submit to God where they were.
