Homecoming 2021

Thomas M. Hunter was raised in the Garden City United Methodist Church as the son of charter member Edith Bowman Hunter and Jack Hunter, grandson of charter members Norine and Jesse Bowman, younger brother to Crystal, Johnny and Brian and older brother to Greg.

Tommy graduated from Groves High School and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech and a juris doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law. He has practiced law in Savannah for more than 40 years. He is married to Carole McCorkle Hunterand they are active members of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church.

Carole and Tommy have two sons and daughters in law, Dr. Matthew and Amy Hunter of Atlanta and Harrison and Ellie Hunter of New York, NY along with four grandsons and one granddaughter: Griffin, Huck, Brighton, Holden and Kipp.

Tommy is the author of two Christian children’s books “Two Wolves” and “Two Stars”.
