Seems like this Amalekite messenger expected David to be a lot happier with him when he told David about Saul’s death! Why wasn’t DAvid happier?

schadenfreude (pronounced shah-den-froy-duh) -  

a german word that means “pleasure derived from another person’s misfortune

  • schadenfreude is the spirit of our age 

  • God is calling us to be people of grace
